"My ultimate goal is to win more competitions – I'm not gonna stop until I win! That, and to travel with my family – we have a dream to visit Europe together."

Ranking 7th in the GKA for Big Air, Josué San has had many notable performances from the 2023 season. Gaining 5th at Lords of Tram (GKA) and 7th at the 2023 Red Bull King of the Air, he is one to watch. Growing up in and around Prea, Brazil, kitesurfing is in his blood. "It was always there, part of my home. Learning from my dad was incredible – he was my first coach, mentor, and the reason I fly."

“My favorite thing about kiteboarding is that it makes me smile. It’s given me a lot of new friends. It gives me a strong body and a strong mind.” His journey is now taking an exciting turn. As we look forward to this new chapter with Josué, his connection with North is clear. “I remember when I saw a North kite for the first time, I liked everything about it – the turn of the loop, the color. I also felt really comfortable with North, the people feel like my family.”
