3x World Champion, Jalou is a world-class kitesurfer and ocean ambassador.

Jalou ended her team rider contract with North last year but will remain an Ambassador for the brand.

The North team is grateful for the considerable part Jalou has played since the 2020 Season Launch and would like to take this moment to say thank you.

Jalou grew up on the Dutch coast and learnt to kite at age 12. She is constantly looking for ways to push herself to not only find happiness, but also to inspire women to share her passion for extreme sports. 

In 2019 Jalou placed 2nd at the GKA World Cup in Mauritius before heading off to Madagascar to shoot the kitesurf film 118ft of Freedom.

Jalou is an ambassador for the International Fund for Animal Welfare, IFAW, a global non-profit helping animals and people thrive together.
